LGBTQ+ History Month
LGBTQ+ history month is an annual month-long observance of the history of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender + community, and the history of the related civil rights movements.
Here in the UK we celebrate this in the month of February, this coincides with a major celebration of the abolishment of the Section 28 act in 2003.
The month is a way in which to raise awareness, and combat prejudice against the LGBTQ+ community, whilst celebrating its achievement and diversity.
Corps Together would love to hear your stories and invite you to celebrate LGBTQ+ history month in February.
